We are looking for someone who is interested in course development, vocational training, and sales and wants to be part of our team at Folkuniversitetet in Östersund/Jämtland.

About the Position:

As an Educational Leader at Folkuniversitetet, you will have a position where you can work both in popular education (50%) and vocational training (50%). In popular education, you will work with course development, sales, and administration of courses on-site in Östersund and remotely. Currently, we mainly offer courses in languages, music, and crafts, and we have a strong interest in growing and broadening our offerings. In vocational training, the main focus will be on interpreter training, where you will lead short interpreter courses and support the implementation of our longer interpreter training programs. The role includes ensuring compliance with government regulations, direct contact with teachers and participants, and educational administration.

You will work in a team with other educational leaders and report directly to the operations manager. At the workplace, there are colleagues linked to other activities within Folkuniversitetet, both in Jämtland and throughout the northern region.

Who You Are:

We are looking for someone with an academic degree or other education/experience that we assess as equivalent and relevant. You need to have at least three years of work experience in popular education, association life, educational administration, vocational training, or similar areas suitable for the position.

It is an extra plus if you are skilled in Excel and other digital tools, have worked on developing courses and sales, or have pedagogical experience.

We believe that you are engaged in educational issues and find lifelong learning important. You have experience working independently in educational activities where it has been important to coordinate multiple groups, venues, and staff simultaneously. You are also used to having contact with authorities and ensuring that their regulations are followed. If you have also worked in sales, that is a plus.

As a person, you are calm, patient, and curious. You are good at guiding and supporting others in their work. You are detail-oriented, can prioritize wisely, and can easily switch between strategic thinking and practical work. About the Position:

The position is a full-time temporary position that may lead to a permanent employment. Employment rate 100%.

The work may sometimes involve evening and weekend work by agreement.
