The Department of Children, Culture, and Education is looking for a substitute preschool teacher for Dunderklumpens Preschool in Gäddede.

Dunderklumpens Preschool in Gäddede is located in the premises of Frostvik School and currently has space for 34 children aged one to five years. Adjacent to the preschool, there is a football field, ice rink, swimming pool, gymnasium, and best of all – forest.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a preschool teacher with us, you will work pedagogically together with engaged colleagues in teams to promote children's learning and development.

Your tasks include:

• Planning, implementing, following up, and evaluating teaching based on the curriculum
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Being responsible for the children's care together with colleagues
• Giving children the opportunity to explore, create, and reflect on new experiences
• Maintaining close and ongoing collaboration with guardians

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed preschool teacher or teacher for early years. Experience working in preschool is an advantage.

• Good empathetic ability and understanding of children's different needs
• Ability to listen, encourage, stimulate, and challenge children's development
• Accustomed to communicating, collaborating, and taking responsibility in daily work
• Creative, engaged, and open to new working methods
