Funäsdalen Preschool

Funäsdalen Preschool is located near forests, mountains, and ski trails. We are constantly working on the development and quality assurance of the preschool. The preschool has 5 departments. Härjedalen Municipality is a Sámi administrative area; therefore, the preschool works with Sámi integration.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a childcare worker are to work in accordance with the preschool curriculum LpFö2018. You will be involved in planning, monitoring, and documenting the activities, as well as implementing the educational activities for children aged 1-5 years together with your team.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained childcare worker or has good experience in the field. You should be accustomed to taking personal responsibility, be responsive to children's expressions of will, be a present educator who finds it easy to collaborate with different people, and always maintain focus on your mission with the children. Good language skills in Sámi are an advantage. The role also involves being a good role model for children and colleagues and having a good understanding of the equal value of all people - what we call a trusting approach. For this position, presenting a police record extract is a prerequisite for employment.
