Welcome to Campus Preschool
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a preschool where children's learning, cooperation, and participation are at the center! Campus Preschool is located in the heart of Östersund, near Mid Sweden University, and we offer a stimulating work environment where both children and educators can develop together.
We are seeking a substitute childcare worker for Campus Preschool in Östersund, a fixed-term position for approximately 3-4 months, 75-90%. Start date 2026-03-02 or by agreement.
Campus Preschool works with age-homogeneous groups to create a safe and developing environment where each child's unique needs and abilities can be met. We use a process-oriented approach and pedagogical documentation to make children's learning visible and ensure that all children have the opportunity to develop according to their own conditions. An important part of our operations is a reflective culture where educators and children together evaluate and develop the work to continuously improve quality. Our learning environments are flexible and changeable, creating space for curiosity, play, and creativity that contributes to meaningful and joyful learning.

About the position
As a childcare worker, you will work to promote children's development and learning. Together with colleagues in the organization, you will help create a safe and pedagogical environment for the children. You will be involved in pedagogical planning and development work according to the curriculum. To promote children's development, you will lead and participate in various activities, games, and adventures both indoors and outdoors.
Common tasks

Your qualifications
Requirements
- Trained childcare worker or has other education deemed equivalent by the employer
- Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
Meritorious
- You have good knowledge of preschool governing documents and can apply them in daily work.
- You have a strong interest in pedagogical challenges and dare to challenge yourself and your colleagues to think about development.
- Previous work experience is an advantage.

You are flexible and adapt smoothly to changes in the preschool's daily life, while also seeing opportunities and contributing to a positive atmosphere.
With your pedagogical insight, you support children's learning and development through play, care, and daily routines. You collaborate well with colleagues and guardians and contribute to a safe and stimulating preschool environment.
Through your relationship-building approach, you build trusting relationships with the children and create a safe and joyful everyday life where they feel seen and acknowledged.
