We are looking for someone who wants to work closely with a man in his 30s and be a safe, stable, and significant part of his daily life. He needs support in all aspects of daily living – and you will be the one who makes it possible for him to live as independently and meaningfully as possible.

💛 About the Job

As a personal assistant, you will work in the client's home and in his daily environment. The tasks are varied and include, among other things:

• Personal care
• Transfers
• Household chores
• Medication
• Exercise and activities

You will work closely with a person who relies on your presence and support, making the relationship and collaboration very significant.

The position is available from May, but there is an opportunity to go through orientation and be a substitute until the start date.

Recruitment Process

We continuously contact candidates who are relevant for a first interview. The position will be filled when we find the right person, which may happen before the application deadline. Your application will be processed by staff at Storsjöbygdens personal assistance, together with the client, and any relatives, guardians, or other parties involved. If the position involves work with a minor client, a criminal record extract is required.

Child Perspective in Recruitment

We at Storsjöbygdens personal assistance closely follow the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which means that if you apply for a position that involves work with minors, the recruitment process will include specific steps to ensure that the child's wishes and needs are taken into account. When employed to work with a minor client, training on the child perspective is also included.

Employment Conditions

If you proceed in the recruitment process, you will need to verify your identity and prove that you have the right to work in Sweden. To sign your employment contract and time reports, you will need a BankID.

To ensure that we maintain high quality in the assistance, new employees will undergo a web-based introductory training (about 1 hour), preferably before the start of employment but no later than within a month from the start of employment.
