BUP is organizationally part of the area of Children and Young Adults and is a resource for the entire Region Jämtland Härjedalen, located in Östersund, Köpmangatan 24. We are co-located with child and youth habilitation, parent-child health, and adult habilitation. The unit consists of about 120 employees who, based on a team-based interdisciplinary approach, work to identify, prevent, alleviate, and cure mental health issues in children and adolescents aged 0-17 years. As an employee at BUP, you will receive external supervision and internal support in your professional role with both supervisors and mentors within the organization. We design individual planning for professional development and have joint introductory weeks for new employees.

BUP has a total of 13 teams, including 5 general psychiatric base teams, of which you will be a part. The team you will join works transprofessionally with professionals such as caregivers, specialist psychologists, doctors, nurses, and psychologists.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social worker with step 1, you will be part of one of our 5 general psychiatric teams providing specialist-level care. Your main tasks will include assessment, investigation, and treatment of children/adolescents and their networks with complex child psychiatric issues. You will tailor treatment interventions based on the patient's needs and also collaborate with care neighbors such as schools, social services, and student health. The work involves varied tasks, and we welcome your interest in leading groups.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required: Degree from the social work program.
• Required: Basic psychotherapeutic training (step 1)
• Experience in trauma treatment, work within child and adolescent psychiatry, or other child/family-oriented activities is an advantage.
• Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, commitment, independent work, collaboration skills, and flexibility, and we welcome diversity in the team.
