Support Assistant with Nursing Assistant Education for Sol Residence

We are now looking for a support assistant with nursing assistant education for our Sol residence. A Sol residence is a housing with special services according to the Social Services Act (SoL), where individuals receive individually tailored support in their daily lives with the goal of living as independently and meaningfully as possible.

With us, older citizens with various diagnoses reside. This means that the need for support and assistance varies from person to person. The work is therefore varied, developing, and requires both flexibility, responsibility, and genuine commitment.

Each citizen lives in their own apartment, which creates good conditions for independence and privacy. Adjacent to the apartments, there are common areas used for social activities such as bingo games, coffee breaks, and communal meals, occasions that contribute to community, participation, and a meaningful daily life. We currently have a team of ten support assistants who work closely together with a common focus on quality, collaboration, and professional interaction. It is important for us to support each other in the workgroup and contribute to a positive and safe working environment. The operations are conducted in modern and pleasant premises that are still relatively new, providing a bright and nice working environment for both citizens and employees.

The operation currently uses a laundry schedule with varying working hours from 07:00 to 21:00 on weekdays and weekends. Working hours may change based on the needs and conditions of the operation.

The position is permanent with a full-time working degree of 100%. Start date according to agreement.

Your New Job

As a support assistant, you will provide support to the citizen based on individual needs and conditions. You help the citizen manage their daily life and all the challenges that may arise, both inside and outside the home. Your job is to create good conditions for the individual to live as independently as possible. This includes daily care interventions where you provide support and assistance to the residents in their daily lives. We are looking for someone who feels secure in care work and has the ability to meet individuals with varying needs, including situations that may involve challenging behaviors, in a calm and professional manner. Staff may drive to and from activities, which means a driving license-B is an advantage but not a requirement.

Your Competence

Requirements

• Support assistant who is a trained nursing assistant, further education in elderly care is an advantage
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Good computer skills

Meritorious

• Experience working with the elderly
• Experience working in psychiatry
• Experience working in care
• Driving license-B
