Individual Coordinator and Coordinator STAR for Strömsund Municipality

The Labor Market Unit (AME) in Strömsund is now looking for an engaged colleague who wants to combine individual coaching with a coordinating responsibility in our STAR team.

The mission of the Labor Market Unit is to reduce unemployment and dependency on benefits by supporting individuals who are far from the labor market step by step towards self-sufficiency. The target group includes individuals with long-term unemployment, disabilities, language challenges, or other barriers, as well as young people who are neither working nor studying.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role is a combination position where you work on behalf of the STAR team within the framework of the Coordination Association (collaboration between the municipality, region, the Employment Agency, and the Social Insurance Agency).

• As Individual Coordinator: You coach and support individuals towards work or studies. The work is conducted according to the methods of Supported Employment (SE) and Individual Placement and Support (IPS). You are responsible for the entire process from mapping and pre-rehabilitation efforts to progression and follow-up.
• As Local Coordinator: You function as the local hub for STAR. This means you plan, lead, and document STAR meetings and ensure effective collaboration between the various authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Education: A university degree in social work, behavioral science, rehabilitation, or another area we consider equivalent.
• Experience: Previous work with individuals in need of support (e.g., in rehabilitation or the labor market) and experience in collaboration between different authorities.
• Method Knowledge: It is an advantage if you have experience with SE or IPS. If you lack this, we offer training as part of the position.
• Driver's License: A B driver's license is required.

We are looking for an independent and structured person with good implementation ability. You are confident in leading meetings and creating clarity in complex contexts. As a person, you are relationship-building, attentive, and professional in your interactions with both individuals and partners.
