Receptionist at Lugnviks Health Center

Do you want to be part of Region Jämtland Härjedalen – a region to long for and grow in? With us, you contribute to development and growth throughout the county and work to provide the best possible service, care, and support for everyone living in or visiting the region.

We offer a work environment characterized by collaboration, participation, and commitment, where both breadth and specialist competence are utilized. Here you will have the opportunity to develop in your role, whether you are new to the profession or have extensive experience.

Lugnviks Health Center within Primary Care is now looking for a receptionist for a temporary position who wants to be part of our team and the first point of contact our patients meet during their visits. Primary Care is organized into 4 local care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under good and close care. Each local care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary Care is also responsible for the region's medical advice, youth clinic, and the local care department Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

Our health center is located just outside central Östersund and is characterized by a pleasant atmosphere, engagement, and a strong focus on a good work environment. Here, you will experience close and professional collaboration among all occupational categories. We have about 40 employees and two unit managers who together are responsible for over 7,500 registered patients. The health center is staffed by both specialists and training doctors, district nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. There is also a rehabilitation coordinator, occupational therapist, physiotherapists, and a psychosocial clinic consisting of several psychologists, psychotherapists, and a social worker. You will join our group working with administration at Lugnviks. The administration consists of our medical secretaries and you as the receptionist. We have a close collaboration with the administration in Lit and work together as a team.

You will work daytime in a positive environment at a well-functioning and well-staffed health center. You will become part of a wonderful and energetic team, and here you will have the opportunity to grow and meet patients with various needs. Warm welcome to your application!

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a receptionist, you are the first person our patients meet when they come to the health center. You are responsible for providing a professional and service-oriented reception and answering questions that arise in connection with the visit. The role of receptionist includes a wide and varied range of tasks. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming patients at the reception and answering incoming questions.
  • Mail handling, including sorting and distribution.
  • Administrative support to the staff in various matters.
  • Working in the journal system Cosmic, such as handling administrative tasks related to patient flows.
  • Ordering office supplies and other consumables.
  • Reporting issues to property services and following up on cases.
  • Other tasks that contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of the organization – a jack-of-all-trades function with great responsibility and variety.

This temporary position is suitable for you who appreciate a broad assignment, enjoy varied tasks, and have the ability to work systematically even when many questions need to be handled simultaneously.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is trained as a receptionist or has nursing assistant training, medical secretary training, or healthcare administrator training, preferably combined with experience from similar tasks. Knowledge of and experience using Cosmic and cases in 1177 are meritorious. As an employee, you have high professionalism and commitment that can contribute to providing our patients with a good first impression. In this role, you will serve as the health center's first point of contact, which means you will be the first contact person for our patients and thus a central part of the organization's outward face.

You are communicative, attentive, and have a strong service focus. You have the ability to create security in meetings with patients and enjoy working in an environment where tasks shift and new situations arise daily. The role requires a high degree of flexibility, teamwork ability, and the ability to take initiative.

Selection and appointment take place continuously during the advertising period, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible, as the appointment may occur before the last application date.

We have an established communication channel for recruitment and kindly but firmly request no contact with advertising sellers or other sellers of recruitment services.
