Support Assistant at Körfältet
Are you a creative and proactive support assistant who works well with others? Are you good at providing supportive and motivating assistance? You could be our new support assistant at Körfältet!
We are currently looking for a support assistant for our service housing at Körfältet who wants to help create participation and promote independence for our citizens. Service housing under LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) is available for our citizens who can live independently but need some assistance in their daily lives. Therefore, you will primarily work in a supportive role, helping our citizens with everyday tasks such as planning, shopping, or cleaning. All citizens live in their own apartments with access to a communal living room where they can play games, watch movies, or just socialize with each other. Travel to and from activities may occur, and a driver's license is an asset but not a requirement. You will be part of a welcoming team that currently consists of five support assistants/support personnel.
The working hours currently follow a rotating schedule that may include day, evening, weekend, and on-call shifts.
- Weekdays: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
- Weekends: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM.
- On-call shifts: 3:00 PM - 10:00 AM or on weekends 1:00 PM - 9:00 AM.
The working hours may change based on the needs of the organization.
The position comprises 80% with the possibility of working up to 100%. The extension can occur in other areas of the disability sector, providing you with a chance for variation, new experiences, and a broader network. We prioritize creating a flexible work environment where your wishes and the organization's goals meet. Start date is according to agreement.
Your New Job
As a support assistant, you will provide support to citizens based on individual needs and circumstances. You help citizens manage their daily lives and all the challenges that may arise, both inside and outside the home. Your job is to create good conditions for as independent a life as possible for the individual.
Your tasks include providing support in daily activities such as household chores, shopping, cooking, and leisure activities. You motivate and encourage participation, self-determination, and social interaction. You also work to create structure in daily life and provide pedagogical support based on low-arousal responses and clarifying pedagogy.
You will also document daily in our documentation system, Viva.

Your Qualifications
Requirements
- Trained nurse assistant or support assistant
- Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
- Good computer skills
Desirable
- Experience working within LSS
- Experience as a contact person and/or in an advocacy role
- Experience in educational activities
- Familiarity with our systems: Viva, MCSS, and/or DF-respons
- Driver's license-B
