In the role of teacher for the distance education program for Service and Installation Electricians, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and following up on teaching, as well as assessing and grading students' knowledge. An important part of the assignment is to follow up on students' workplace learning (APL) and maintain good contacts with the labor market. You will work closely with the students and ensure a clear connection between theory and practice.

The theoretical teaching takes place online in the learning platform Learnweare, while the practical components are conducted on-site at Hermods' facilities in Östersund 2-3 times per semester. Our facilities are centrally located, and you will be part of a team of 8 people consisting of teachers and administrators. There are good opportunities to work partially remotely.

We are primarily looking for someone who is a qualified and licensed vocational teacher, but others are also welcome to apply for the position. It is important that you have professional experience as an electrician, and it is an advantage if you are still working in the industry. Since the program is a distance education program, you need to be computer literate.

The position is a permanent employment at 65%.
