to apply for the job

Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion SEK each year. It is everyone's tax money that we manage. It is a great responsibility. Therefore, we take the time to understand each case, follow laws and regulations, inform and guide, care, and show consideration. This is a job for you who want to take responsibility. Welcome to Försäkringskassan.

The Control area belongs to the Department of Common Insurance Issues and is located in nine different locations in Sweden. The main task of the Control Investigation Unit is to investigate the right to compensation where there is a suspicion of incorrect payments that an individual may have intentionally caused and to return the knowledge from these investigations to the departments to prevent incorrect payments.

We are now looking for an administrative officer whose main task is to support the operations in a broad administrative role.

Documentation, administration, and internal and external collaboration
As an administrative officer within Control, you will play an important role in providing administrative support to the entire control operation and ensuring that the work of the control investigators runs smoothly. You will work closely with the operations and actively contribute to improving and streamlining work processes.

By offering administrative support and contributing to the development of an efficient and qualitative support organization, you will help free up time and create added value for the operations. You will review, register, administer, complement, process, calculate, and assess the reasonableness of information and documents and make decisions within your area of responsibility.

Your tasks include handling cases in the registry, receiving documents from, for example, banks, handling inquiries from law enforcement agencies, and managing inboxes in Försäkringskassan's case management system. You will use several of Försäkringskassan's internal programs and, to some extent, also be responsible for initiating cases. Periodically, the workload may be high, and some tasks may need to be completed the same day. Therefore, it is important that you have a structured and systematic approach to your work.

Since Försäkringskassan handles confidential information, you will also need to maintain a high level of security awareness in your work.

This is a job for you who want to take responsibility.

  • quickly understands problems and tasks and finds creative solutions
