We are looking for a senior IT technician with high generalist competence in IT workplace, for an assignment with our client in Norrköping. You will work broadly with the management of client environments and be a key resource in the operation, support, and further development of the IT workplace.

About the role

As a technician in management, you will work with the entire lifecycle of client management – from planning and packaging to distribution, upgrading, and monitoring. You will become an important part of the daily work to develop and streamline the authority's IT environment, where quality, structure, and collaboration are at the center.

Examples of tasks:

• Packaging and distribution of software
• Management and administration of Group Policy Objects (GPO)
• Patching and updating of client environments
• Administration of operating systems
• Management of desktop and laptop computers
• Ensuring prerequisites for installations
• Monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management
• Management of hardware
• Support at varying levels (2nd/3rd line)
• Assistance in the development and maintenance of training materials

Your profile

Experience and knowledge:

• At least 5 years of work experience in IT workplace, for example in 2nd or 3rd line support, focusing on troubleshooting operating systems and hardware
• At least 5 years of experience working with desktop and laptop computers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Good experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) for client management, software distribution, updates, and operating systems
• Experience in managing and configuring Group Policy Objects (GPO) in a corporate environment according to internal security policies
• At least 2 years of experience with Windows operating systems and network configuration, such as IP addresses, DNS, and network connections
• At least 3 years of experience in packaging and distributing software, including troubleshooting related to SCCM or similar tools
• Good habit of working in teams and sharing knowledge to strengthen work methods and skills
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
