Job Description

As a parking attendant at Uppsala Parkering, you play an important role in creating a safe, accessible, and pleasant city for everyone who lives, works, and visits here.

As a parking attendant, you are the face of Uppsala Parkering. You meet people in everyday life and represent our common effort to make the city safe, accessible, and welcoming. The work involves both on-foot and vehicle-based monitoring on street and property within Uppsala Municipality.

You will receive training both internally and externally, as well as theoretical and practical, where you will be supported by experienced colleagues until you feel secure in the role. Together, you contribute to developing work methods, routines, and collaboration – always with the citizen in focus.

The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a high school education and experience in service or customer contact. You need to have a B driver's license, be able to express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, and have good knowledge of English. If you also have additional language skills, we see it as a plus.

As a person, you are warm, attentive, and professional in your approach. You meet people in a safe and respectful manner and find it easy to remain calm even when situations change. You have an eye for what needs to be done and can prioritize well.
