About the Role
The position is a summer temporary job, so we wish that you are available for work between week 25-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time!

As a store detective, you will work to prevent and deter shoplifting, theft, and loss in a retail environment. The role is varied, where one day is not like the other, as you will visit several different stores during your shift. In the event of a crime, you will intervene and then call the police to the scene.
You will for example:
- Conduct checks at our retail customers.
- Collaborate with the police in case of any crimes.
- Work preventively by checking the stores' security work.
The position suits you who are determined and not afraid to work in vulnerable environments. Often, the role of a store detective is flexible, which means that if needed, you can combine the work as a store detective with other tasks within Securitas. Requirements Specification
We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you who are applying are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and careful approach with an eye for detail. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.
Requirements
- Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
- B driver's license
- Complete security guard training
We consider it meritorious if you have worked with similar tasks before, are a trained store detective, and/or are a trained security guard with a valid appointment

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be carried out. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may for example come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.
