Medical Secretary Wanted for Psychiatry Nordväst

We are looking for an experienced and educated medical secretary for our administrative unit at Visionsgatan 70 A in Stockholm.

Psychiatry Nordväst has several outpatient clinics located at Karolinska University Hospital Norra in Solna, Visionsgatan 70 A. We cater to patients with anxiety disorders, affective disorders, personality disorders, and neuropsychiatric disabilities. We also have a mobile acute team (MAK) stationed there.

You will be part of an administrative unit with secretarial colleagues and administrators. Together, we ensure professional service to patients and staff such as nurses, psychologists, doctors, caregivers, health educators, and psychotherapists.

Job Responsibilities

The tasks are varied, including medical record writing, KVÅ registration, referral and waiting list bookings, telephone service, reception and cash handling, providing administrative support to practitioners, and other tasks where our knowledge as medical secretaries is needed. We use the Take Care medical record system.

Qualifications/Personal Attributes

A requirement is that you are a trained medical secretary. Experience in psychiatric care and interest in our patient group is desirable. Good IT skills are a must. Familiarity with KVÅ registration is preferred. Experience with referral management and care guarantees is also required. You are flexible, unpretentious, helpful, and can step in where needed. You have excellent collaboration skills while also being able to work independently and drive your work forward. You enjoy providing good service to both colleagues and patients and feel comfortable in patient contacts both at the reception and via telephone. You are curious, enjoy learning new things, and share your knowledge and experiences with colleagues, contributing to a positive atmosphere at the clinic. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Employment Type/Start Date

Fixed-term employment, starting as soon as possible and until January 31, 2026, full-time Monday to Friday (39:30 hours/week). Start date by agreement.
