As our colleague is retiring, we are seeking an HR consultant who wants to help continue developing the operational HR support in Haninge municipality.

About us

Operational HR is tasked with providing accessible, operational, and purposeful HR support to the municipality's managers and leadership teams. The group consists of 14 HR consultants and a unit manager who work together to support the municipality's various departments.

Job responsibilities

As an HR consultant with us, you will have a varied and developing role where you work closely with the municipality's managers and operations. You will work specifically with one of the municipality's departments but will also support colleagues and the strategic unit as needed.

You will:

• Provide consultative and strategic HR support to managers in labor law, work environment, and rehabilitation. The tasks within the labor law area include legal and contractual interpretation, collaboration, and negotiations with trade unions, as well as personnel matters.
• Identify and initiate improvement and development efforts together with managers and leadership groups.
• Work proactively and strategically to strengthen and develop managers' HR competence.
• Contribute to the development of the municipality's overarching HR processes and employer policy in close collaboration with the Strategic HR Unit.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in HR or another relevant education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Experience in consultative and labor law support for managers.
• Experience with digital HR processes and curiosity about how new technology can streamline HR work.

It is important that you have the ability to work independently and take initiative while also enjoying working in a team. You need to have good communication skills and be able to build trusting relationships easily. Furthermore, we see that you need to be able to work consultatively and operationally focused, while also having the ability to take a broader perspective and act from a holistic viewpoint.

Meritorious:

• Experience working with labor law and rehabilitation issues in HR work within municipal operations.
• Knowledge of the collective agreement General Terms and Conditions.
