We want to strengthen our teams with support assistants who meet the residents of Lund who receive support and services within our LSS operations.

About the workplace and the role

We are now looking for support assistants for our LSS accommodations in Lund Municipality, which consists of both group and service accommodations.

As a support assistant, you will support our users with individually tailored assistance such as shopping, cooking, personal care, cleaning, and leisure activities. Through pedagogical support, alternative communication, and care, you and the team will work to provide users with good living conditions and independence.

We are looking for someone who is attentive and flexible in capturing the individual needs of users. We hope you thrive in a dynamic work environment with a strong focus on motivational work and user participation.

Your tasks will also include designing implementation plans, documenting, and conducting regular evaluations. As a contact person, you will collaborate and communicate with parents, relatives, guardians, and colleagues.

About us

Residential LSS is divided into 22 management areas. Each manager has two to three group or service accommodations in their area.

At our accommodations, support staff and support assistants work. There is a pedagogical coordinator per area who works with the overall perspective and quality in the pedagogical work. We have at least one support pedagogue per accommodation who works closely with users while also mentoring staff. Additionally, coordinators, unit administrators, and licensed personnel also work with us.

Qualifications

  • Approved grades from the health and care program, child and leisure program, social and behavioral program, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent is meritorious.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
  • Knowledge and experience of low-arousal responses and clear pedagogical approaches.
  • Basic knowledge of digital work tools.
  • Experience/knowledge of personal care.
  • Driver's license required.
