JOB DESCRIPTION
As a case officer for financial assistance, you will play a central role in supporting people towards self-sufficiency and increased security. Your work involves investigating and making decisions about the right to financial assistance according to the Social Services Act, where large parts of the processing are done digitally.
You will be an important part of a team of four social workers and one administrator, who, together with clients and partners, work to create sustainable solutions for our individuals. In addition to financial assistance, you will also have the opportunity to:
- Investigate cases related to domestic violence
- Handle applications for social housing contracts
- Collaborate with the labor market unit and other authorities to ensure individuals receive the right support

QUALIFICATIONS
Are you a social worker or a social work student who has completed your internship semester? Or do you have a university degree that we assess as equivalent? Then this could be the job for you!
We are looking for someone who is passionate about social work and wants to support people in need of help and support. You have knowledge of social services legislation and preferably experience working with people in various life situations.
In this role, you will use your structure, accuracy, and communication skills every day. You collaborate with colleagues, clients, and partners to create sustainable solutions that truly make a difference.
You will thrive in this role if you:
- Are meticulous, structured, and see details without losing sight of the whole
- Have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team
- Communicate clearly and confidently in spoken and written Swedish
Desirable experiences:
- Experience with financial assistance, investigations, and authority exercise
- Previous collaboration with other authorities, for example through internships or work
- Knowledge of the journal system Combine
