About the positionWe are now looking for several personal assistants for a man in his 30s who lives in Rydebäck with his family. For him, the company of family and friends is an obvious part of everyday life and something that gives him both joy and energy. The client has ALS and uses a power wheelchair. Having knowledge about ALS can help understand both the medical and practical aspects of the disease, so we encourage you to read more about the diagnosis.

What we can offer you is a position of about 50% as well as hourly substitutes. Your tasks include daily care, transfers, meals, and dressing and undressing.The working hours may vary as follows:

• 07:30 - 14:30

• 14:30 - 21:30

• 21:30 - 07:30 (on-call 7.7 hours)

About youAs a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our client. You will be an important part of the client's life and contribute to his independence and well-being. Since the execution of the assistance is based on communication between you and the client, it is necessary that you have fluent knowledge of the Swedish language. We believe that you who are applying for this position are an initiative-taking and solution-focused person. You are an empathetic person who finds it easy to understand the life situation of others, while being calm, self-assured, and socially perceptive. It is important that there is personal chemistry between you as an applicant and the client. This may become crucial in the final selection.It is required that you

• have care experience.

• are smoke-free.

• have fluent knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you

• have a driver's license and access to a car.

• have experience with ALS.

• have care education or equivalent.
