Fryshuset enables young people to change the world through their passions. We create communities where young people are seen, heard, and counted. Based on this foundation, we run around 60 different activities in several locations across the country. About the assignment

Fryschillet in Folkets park is an open meeting place aimed at young people aged 12-20, where they can meet, socialize, engage, and develop within their interests and passions. The meeting place in Seved has a younger target group and a more activity-based operation. The activities are based on Fryshuset's values, where we give young people significant responsibility for participating in shaping the operations.

In the role of leisure leader, you will manage the daily operations of the meeting place together with your colleagues. We are looking for both individuals who will have supervisory responsibilities and those who will not.

Job responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and follow up on activities based on the wishes of young people.
• Work operationally with the target group during afternoons and evenings.
• Create structure and quality in the operations
• Participate in the ongoing development of the operations towards formulated goals together with other leisure leaders and management
• Guide and coach young people
• Document and follow up on the operations
• Contribute to the development of the meeting place
• For supervisory roles: coordinate the operations and support youth leaders
• Collaborate with other Fryshuset activities

You are engaged, secure, present, socially driven, and brave. You are responsible, solution-oriented, and have a good ability for self-leadership. You thrive in goal-oriented work and have the capacity to work systematically with planning, implementation, and follow-up. You can build relationships and create trust with children and young people from various backgrounds.

Qualifications:

• Leisure leader education or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience working with young people
• Previous work in leisure center operations/open activities for young people

Meritorious:

• B driver's license
• Experience working in the non-profit sector
• Participation in training and contexts that promote and challenge issues related to self-leadership and personal development
• Having a personal passion in areas such as sports, culture, or democracy, etc.
• Multilingualism

Location: Malmö

Start date: As soon as possible. Selection is ongoing, and hiring may occur before the stated deadline.

Scope: Probationary employment for 6 months, followed by permanent employment. We are looking for both full-time and part-time employees. The work is mainly scheduled for afternoons/evenings. Weekend work may also occur.

Employment form: Probationary employment for 6 months, followed by permanent employment.

Collective agreement: The position is covered by a collective agreement between Fremia and Unionen/Academikerförbunden SSR.
