Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

Our client lives with autism and needs support with everything that may arise in everyday life. She has an interest in cooking, enjoys taking walks, and likes to listen to music. As her assistant, you are welcome to share these interests and contribute with a calm, safe, and supportive presence.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a woman in her 50s living in central Malmö

• has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• is physically fit

• enjoys working independently

• is smoke-free

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience working with people with autism

• share the client's interests in cooking and walking

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 57%. The job involves working during daytime, evening, and night. Working hours are from 15:00 to 15:00 with 9.5 hours of on-call time at night.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.
