ABF Mittskåne runs a LSS daily activity. The daily activities are carried out on behalf of Lund Municipality.

We are now looking for an activity leader for our daily activity 'Mitt i stan' - a pleasant, varied, and eventful workplace.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the advertisement may be shortened if there are many relevant applicants for the position.

We are looking for a complement to our dynamic staff group. We seek someone who is well-structured but also flexible, enjoys working among creative people, has an administrative flair, can juggle multiple tasks, plan, and meet deadlines. Someone who has a strategy for their own work but can also listen to others and step outside their strategy to collaborate in new ways.

Job Responsibilities Our daily activity caters to individuals with various types of functional variations. We work with the following focuses: Culture – teaching instruments and singing, playing in bands, creating music together, having a choir, visiting cultural sites and events, developing our creativity through crafts and creation, etc., Training and Health – we go to the gym, have yoga, play team sports together, and work on physical and mental health, Earth's Resources – we learn about sustainability and the environment, and create new things from old items or natural resources – and Education – we educate in cooking, history, geography, general knowledge, and other subjects of interest to participants.

The staff group distributes activities collectively based on competence and interest, and as staff, you have the opportunity to develop each focus together with the participants and also create new activities.

You will work on planning, structuring, and leading activities, motivating, and guiding in social contexts.

We document in Lifecare.

You will work in a team and independently with the participants. Working in daily activities is a very enjoyable and developing job.

Competence: knowledge and experience related to the target group.

Education: Relevant education, pedagogical or care-oriented.

We are looking for someone who has ideas but can also value others' ideas. You, with the participants' interests and wishes in focus, will design and lead activities. Being able to support and motivate others, and create relationships in a professional context are important qualities to have with us. Positive and interested. Have a genuine interest in people and see their assets.

Situations you will encounter with us, and the differences in the individuals you meet will require you to be very flexible and secure in yourself and your work. We see that you are pedagogical in your approach, low-arousal and clear in your interactions, attentive, receptive, and good at managing primarily your own emotions but also others'. Stable. Structured. Attentive. Empathic.

We would like you to have an interest in several of our focuses: Culture, Training and Health, Earth's Resources, and Education. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for our participant group and the ability to complement the staff team.
