Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done, as well as being a gentle, calm, and stable person who is confident in your role as a personal assistant and in yourself.

We are now looking for you who match the following:

• Wants to work with a 36-year-old woman living in Landskrona

• Enjoys being active

• Has good physical fitness and is at least 175cm tall as there are transfers that won't work otherwise

• Is not allergic to pets as a dog may be present at the workplace

• Is a competent swimmer

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience in similar work

• Have experience with a ventilator and BiPap

• Share the client's interests in an active life with travel, concerts, and photography

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 75%. The job involves working during the day and evening as well as weekends. Assistance is provided around the clock, and all working hours are active, even at night. For certain activities, such as swimming, double staffing occurs.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start in January 2026

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
