JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to be the first and most important contact for social services? We are now looking for a social worker for Mottaget, a central function in Hörby Municipality's social services where you make a real difference early, legally secure, and with a focus on guiding residents to the right support.

Mottaget works with all areas within social services: Children and youth, Adults, LSS, VOMS, and financial assistance. Here you are the hub that creates structure, security, and direction in often complex inflows.

Job Tasks

In the role of social worker at Mottaget, you will among other things:

• Receive and process reports of concern, applications, and inquiries
• Make preliminary assessments and evaluate the need for investigation or intervention
• Work with simplified processing and referral to the right service or authority
• Be the first line of social services and guide residents in contact with the municipality
• Process LUL cases, participate in police interviews, and write statements
• Collaborate closely with internal operations and external actors such as schools, police, and health care
• Contribute to the development of routines, working methods, and quality within the reception function

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in social work
• Has experience of authority exercise within social services (meritorious with reception, children and youth or LUL)
• Is confident in assessments, documentation, and legally secure processing
• Has a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
• Thrives in a job with a high pace, variety, and many contact surfaces
