We are opening a new branch and are looking for two leisure leaders who want to help shape the operations! We are looking for stable, secure adult role models for children and youth in their everyday lives.

You will be employed by Culture and Leisure, a part of the municipality focused on meaningful leisure activities and development work for children and youth.

Your mission

As a leisure leader, you will be part of our operations, an open leisure activity that moves to where children and youth are. You will work both outdoors and indoors at various arenas and meeting places in the local area.

We are in the middle of an exciting development phase and will open a new branch, which means you will contribute to how the operations grow and take shape.

You will:

• Plan and lead activities focusing on sports, movement, and social interaction
• Create safe, inclusive, and meaningful activities for children and youth
• Be a stable and present adult who builds relationships and promotes a positive leisure environment
• Use digital tools and social media as a natural part of the work
• Collaborate with colleagues, schools, associations, and other stakeholders
• Actively contribute to the development work of the operations as we establish more branches
• The work mainly takes place during times when children and youth are free, and we always strive for a good balance between work and leisure.

Your experience

• Leisure leader education or other relevant education for the position
• Previous experience working with children and youth in open leisure activities
• Have a B driver's license
• Be comfortable with digital working methods and the use of social media
• Have security and stability in the role as an adult in meetings with children and youth
• Have experience working in varying environments
