In Trelleborg, we work together for a growing successful community where it is good to live. Our 61 villages and 21 districts are creative meeting places that bubble with life. Here we want things to happen, we tell stories about them, and we come just as we are. This makes us welcome others in the same generous and curious way.

Welcome to take your place on the journey!

The Culture and Leisure Administration works based on everyone's right to meaningful free time. In all our activities, we create opportunities for people to meet, co-create, experience, and participate in a varied range of cultural, sports, and leisure activities for all. Culture and leisure are important pieces in a growing Trelleborg, and our work contributes to attractiveness, safety, as well as quality of life and public health.

The Youth Unit is part of the department for Young Culture and Free Time, together with the Culture School, with which we have a close and creative collaboration. Together, we share an important mission to reach more of the municipality's children and young people and offer them a meaningful leisure time in safe and inspiring places.

Our work is supported by both the municipality's cultural policy program and the municipality's sustainability goals, and we are currently in an exciting phase of development. We are on the verge of creating new working methods, collaborations, and structures that will enable more young people to find their place in our activities. The goal is to increase participation and broaden involvement so that even more children and young people have the chance to discover, develop, and feel a sense of community.
