Bromölla Municipality is looking for a Support Pedagogue/Support Assistant

Bromölla Municipality in northeastern Skåne, at the border with Blekinge, has nearly 13,000 inhabitants. We are now looking for a Support Pedagogue/Support Assistant for our group home Korallen in central Bromölla.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Support Pedagogue/Support Assistant, you will be part of the daily user-centered work in all tasks. The work includes care work in combination with pedagogical tasks. In addition to these, you will promote an increased pedagogical approach in the operations.

As a Support Pedagogue/Support Assistant, you should be able to gather and transform evidence-based knowledge and practice to professionally analyze and structure pedagogical methods. In daily work, you are expected to work salutogenically, with the user's needs at the center, together with the entire workgroup.

Working in a group home is a mix of care, guiding conversations, and being involved in the whole surrounding the user. QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements for the position:

• Education as a Support Pedagogue/Social Pedagogue and/or Support Assistant
• Experience and knowledge of the target group LSS.
• We prefer that you have experience in care work
• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Experience in documentation.
• Experience in clear communication, low-affect responses, and NPF.
• Driving license B

It is important for us that you are comfortable taking on significant responsibility in your work and can collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and other people surrounding the user. You should strive to develop a safe everyday life for our users together with your colleagues, therefore it is important that you can see the user's perspective and adapt your working methods accordingly.

We are looking for someone with the right personal qualifications to meet the individual in their daily life. You have an interest in working with people and need to be able to work closely with our users, for example, with personal hygiene. You have a good attitude, are responsible, easy to collaborate with, and flexible in your work.

It is essential to be able to work both independently and in a group, to follow routines, decisions, and action plans with the users' best interests in focus. It is a prerequisite that you can work with both women and men.

Solo work as well as day, evening, awake night, on-call, and weekend duties occur. The position may also require working in other services within disability care. We are moving forward to support each other's operations and work in a more flexible way.
