Job Responsibilities
A new daily activity according to LSS will start in the spring of 2026, and we are now looking for employees for this exciting assignment.
Are you ready for a new challenge? The operation is primarily aimed at people with multiple disabilities, often with severe or profound intellectual disabilities and extensive mobility impairments.
We offer individual and group activities focusing on sensory experiences based on the needs of the users. The staff group consists of five activity leaders and one care educator.
As an activity leader, you will work closely with the users in their daily lives. We use clear pedagogical methods to create structure and predictability. Together with other staff, you are responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing the operation. The work includes documentation, establishing activity descriptions and implementation plans to meet the users' needs. You contribute to meaningfulness and security in everyday life and adapt the operation according to each user's ability.
You will also be responsible for tasks such as documentation for habilitation compensation, orders in the financial system, alarms, fire protection, fault reporting, and maintenance of activity rooms. You are expected to participate in change work and work solution-focused for the users' best.
Qualifications
To be considered for the position, you need completed and approved studies from the health and care program or the child and leisure program or other equivalent education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
It is a requirement that you have:
- Experience working with users with autism and intellectual disabilities with extensive support needs within group 1 (Pk1) according to LSS
- Experience working with clear pedagogical methods.
- Experience working with low-arousal approaches – you have a calm and responsive demeanor and are good at meeting people where they are
- A valid driver's license (B).
To succeed in the role, you need to feel confident leading and guiding users independently within daily activities.
With us, it is important that you have a good view of people, a respectful approach, and good pedagogical skills. As an activity leader, you work closely with the users, and together you create the content of the operation. You need to be flexible, responsive, and creative. Since you meet many different users and colleagues, high demands are placed on social agility, independence, and self-confidence.
Job responsibilities may change and develop rapidly, and as an employee, you should be flexible and able to shift focus, take initiatives, and make independent decisions. You are good at handling stress, can adapt to rapid changes and altered conditions. You should be computer literate and able to express yourself in Swedish both orally and in writing. We would also like you to have good knowledge of documentation.
