I am a 70-year-old woman who suffered a stroke 10 years ago.

I am now looking for a female assistant for about 50%, with the possibility of a permanent position after three months.

My husband and I have been living in an apartment in Stångby for the past two years. My husband receives home care, and I need someone who can be close to me in my daily life.

I have many interests; my grandchildren, my Ragdoll cat, plants, choir singing, and much more that brings joy and variety to life. I am looking for someone who can help me both with my daily routines and spontaneous activities. This includes all the tasks that come with a home, but also support during medical visits where you help me physically and take notes on what is said. Therefore, you need to be able to speak and write Swedish fluently. Having a driver's license is a must, and having your own car is a plus.

I train regularly, and you will receive guidance to learn how my training routines should be performed. This is a profession that requires both heart and mind. Personal assistance is much more than being someone’s hands or feet. You need to meet another person with respect, warmth, and cognitive ability – to read, understand, and be attentive. A person is not a robot, and it is important that you see the value in a warm and mutual collaboration.

The working hours are scheduled with day shifts from 08:30 to 14:30 and evening and night shifts from 17:00 to 07:30, including 6 hours of sleeping duty/waiting time during the night. The employment starts with guidance so that you can learn the tasks involved.
