JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Social Services in Klippan Municipality, area of operation Support Services, is now seeking a full-time Educational Coordinator. Your mission is crucial for us to be able to offer good living conditions, participation, and self-determination for the users. You will work closely with unit managers, support educators, and quality developers. Your position is centrally located under the operations manager. Since this position is new in the organization, you will have the opportunity to help shape it based on the needs of the users and the operations.

In the role of Educational Coordinator within the support services area, you have an overall responsibility for ensuring that educational assessments and care load measurements are carried out and followed up in a systematic way. You lead and coordinate the support educators in their work and serve as a support in their assignments. This includes training and guiding on communication and pedagogical approaches as well as documentation and implementation plans. You also guide in making informal assessments, such as energy assessments, leisure assessments, and ADL assessments. Furthermore, you are responsible for conducting communication assessments and collaborating with the region on communication methods to ensure that each user receives the support they need. You develop working methods in areas such as behavior registrations and zero behavior, and you are an important support in implementing new methods.

Your role involves a high degree of collaboration with other professionals who are important for the user, as well as monitoring research, methods, and evidence to ensure that the operation continuously develops and is based on current knowledge. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience working with people with disabilities and familiarity with conducting informal assessments, such as ADL assessments, leisure assessments, and communication assessments. You also have personal experience of successful collaboration with different professional groups and stakeholders regarding individual needs.

You have post-secondary education, for example as an occupational therapist, social worker, or other equivalent relevant education. A B driver's license is required.

As a person, you are engaged, attentive, and inclusive, and have good pedagogical abilities as well as the ability to communicate clearly and respond to others in a professional manner. You are creative and inspiring, and have good collaboration skills, initiative, and organizational skills.
