Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a new treatment assistant who wants to work with us at Delsjögatan's short-term accommodation!

As a treatment assistant at Delsjögatan, you will work with individual approaches where each resident receives the support they need.

The goal of the operation is to provide a time-limited accommodation, create security, and provide help and support in daily life.

Part of the assignment is to observe users, which will serve as a basis for upcoming decisions from authorities regarding accommodation.

Delsjögatan's short-term accommodation does not provide treatment. Some household work may occur.

The work is scheduled with day-evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a university degree of at least 180 credits in social work, behavioral science, or another relevant education that the employer deems appropriate at the corresponding level. Alternatively, you have a post-secondary education as a social pedagogue at a vocational college equivalent to 400 YH points (2 years) or equivalent education from a folk high school.

If you have training in addiction, MI, recovery-oriented approaches, and/or conflict management, it is an advantage.

You have knowledge and experience of the target group and experience working in accommodation settings.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and value a positive and engaged attitude towards the target group. It is important to be able to work in an environment with active substance abuse, and we also place great importance on experience and knowledge regarding approaches and support for individuals in psychosis or mental illness.

You should have great patience, think preventively, and be an unpretentious person who, with a good portion of imagination and a strong will, tries to find solutions to unforeseen situations. You are accustomed to documentation and have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

If you have a driver's license, we consider it an advantage.

Delsjögatan's short-term accommodation is a residence with 7 places, and the target group consists of individuals with mental illness, disabilities, and active substance abuse may occur.
