About the Position

Do you see the whole picture in people's contexts? We are a smaller municipality with a social services department where we prefer to collaborate in teams, have accessible managers, and work trust-based in a flexible work environment.

The entire department sits in the same part of our beautiful municipal building and can find solutions together!

To help you manage a tough and demanding job well for the residents of the municipality, we offer you light snacks every morning, the opportunity for close supervision, and external guidance. Moreover, we laugh in the break room and when we work together.

As a social worker in the unit, your work will involve homelessness and housing issues, domestic violence, harmful use and addiction, as well as crime. This position is primarily focused on housing issues, including eviction prevention, counseling, and the investigation and follow-up of housing social contracts, but can also be directed to other areas as needed. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues, other units in the municipality, and external partners.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and experience in public authority work. You have knowledge and experience working with adults in social services and preferably other areas of the sector.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required, and speaking other languages is an advantage. A driver's license is a requirement, and you need to be able to drive in your work.

Experience working with housing issues, domestic violence, and individuals with harmful use and addiction is advantageous, as well as having any of the following qualifications: MI, ASI, FREDA, Housing First. We work in the Lifecare operational system.

As a person, you need to have personal maturity and be secure and stable. You should have a holistic view and be able to consider the larger perspective in relation to your role and assignment. You are flexible and open to new working methods and can communicate clearly and respectfully. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
