About the role and your tasks

We are seeking a social worker for a team that works with clients who are further from the labor market and have greater support needs. The main task as a social worker within financial assistance involves using a MI-inspired approach to contribute to the self-sufficiency of individuals. Meanwhile, we investigate, assess, and decide on the right to financial assistance according to the Social Services Act. The assignment involves collaboration with other relevant agencies, both internally and externally. We offer supervision and further development through relevant training.

We are looking for you

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and knowledge of applicable legislation in the field. We see that you have experience working with financial assistance or other public authority functions deemed equivalent by the employer. Experience in motivational interviewing (MI) is an advantage.

To succeed in your role, you need to be solution-focused and see opportunities in people's potential to develop. You should have good collaboration skills and a positive attitude towards both the people you meet in your job and your colleagues and external actors. You need to be flexible and able to quickly adapt your work and prioritize according to current conditions. The tasks require you to be self-sufficient, but you also see the workgroup as an asset. The job also requires you to be structured and able to handle administrative tasks.

Good experience with IT systems and the ability to express yourself well in both spoken and written form are necessary as the work involves documentation and administration.
