Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant demands a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with an 18-year-old boy living in Malmö

• has previous experience in healthcare/care or personal assistance

• has previous experience working with individuals who require constant supervision

• has previous experience with low-arousal responses

• can work weekends

It is also an advantage if you:

• have a B driver's license

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 50%. The job involves work during daytime and evening hours. Working hours are from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM on weekends and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on weekdays, and you will work both weekend days and one weekday per week.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are made according to collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid identification and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
