Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.
About the position
The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.
We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:
wants to work with a 15-month-old infant living with their family in Limhamn
has previous experience in care or personal assistance
has experience with respiratory support
has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
is smoke-free
It is also an advantage if you:
have experience working with infants
have experience working active hours at night
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Working hours, employment rate, and salary:
The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 37.5%. The job involves working during the day, evening, and night on weekdays and weekends. Working hours are from 21:30 to 07:30 and from 22:00 to 08:00, and it is active time at night.
Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.
Start date
Immediately or according to agreement.
Being employed at Humana
A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
