About us

Orana Christianstad is located in the central part of Kristianstad. We accommodate girls aged 15-25 and have 7 places as well as 2 transition places. We work with treatment and assessment of young people with severe psychiatric issues, which may manifest in behaviors such as: - Self-harm and other destructive behaviors - Anxiety issues such as panic attacks, compulsions, social phobia, and PTSD - Suicide attempts - Depression - Eating disorders - Personality disorders Our goal is to provide each young person with the conditions to live a good and independent life by achieving change, development, and maturity based on the individual treatment plan. We use evidence-based methods such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Our ambition is to be a leader in child and youth care - the ones who stand for quality, competence, and care. Region South consists of several HVB operations and support housing, all located in Skåne. The operations offer HVB placements for girls and boys with various needs for support and treatment.

About the role

In the role of therapist, you will also be the treatment responsible. This means ensuring that the operation carries out the treatment we say we offer, and that the interventions follow the care plan and implementation plan.

You will participate in admissions, conduct suitability assessments, design and follow up treatment goals, and conduct individual conversations with the young people. You will also be responsible for risk assessments and ongoing follow-up of each client together with the team.

As the treatment responsible, you will lead the treatment work in everyday life through close collaboration with the contact persons, convene team meetings, and maintain continuous contact with the social services. You will be responsible for follow-up meetings, documentation, and ensuring that implementation plans are developed and revised.

The position requires good competence in CBT/DBT, a strong ability to drive processes forward, and to motivate young people and staff. Supervision is provided continuously, and personal suitability is crucial.

The position is a permanent employment at 100%. Work is conducted during daytime hours. Salary is according to agreement, and other compensations are according to collective agreements. Start date is according to agreement.

Who are you?

We are looking for a secure and flexible person with strong initiative and collaboration skills. You have relevant higher education (e.g., social worker, behavioral scientist, or equivalent) and at least step-1 CBT as well as experience in therapeutic work.

Since we work with DBT and DBT-SS, you are required to have training and practical experience in DBT. Supervision in DBT-SS is included in the position.

Meritorious:

• Experience in treatment responsibility and implementation of methods

• Experience in CBT, DBT, MI, and other evidence-based approaches

• Experience from HVB, social services, or similar target groups
