International English School in Helsingborg is a 4-9 primary school. The school is centrally located in the southern part of Helsingborg. IES Helsingborg has approximately 500 students and we opened the school in 2017. The school is newly renovated with a fantastic character.

We are a bilingual school where English and Swedish are used in daily teaching. We focus on a safe school environment, language development, and providing our students with the opportunity to reach their full potential.

We are looking for an Activity Leader for IES Helsingborg.

As an Activity Leader with us, you will plan and implement break and after-school activities together with your closest colleagues. You will also provide support and stimulation to students during their school day based on their specific needs and promote development and independence during breaks. At the end of the school day, we offer 'Junior Club' for students in grades 4-6. Junior Club is open until 4:30 PM, where you will lead planned activities with the children, such as sports, crafts, outings, and more.

We offer Move with IES, a health initiative to increase students' activity levels and provide opportunities to try new activities, play, and sports.

Qualifications

You enjoy planning and organizing based on operational goals and your assignment. You collaborate well, have good organizational skills, and look forward to being a significant part of the development work. You see opportunities in changes and adapt your way of working based on students' needs. You are positive and flexible.

You have documented work experience as a leisure leader or equivalent youth-related professions. We believe the right person for this position is someone with experience in working with children, relationship-building, and activity planning. We see that you enjoy taking responsibility, are eager to develop, and are flexible.
