About the Position

We are now looking for an assistant for a 10-year-old boy living just outside Lund/Hjärup. The boy has a muscle weakness that makes it difficult for him to maintain balance and body control, and he is granted assistance around the clock. He is an active, social, and cheerful boy who lives a life full of activities, just like his peers.

What Does the Job Entail?

As his assistant, you will play an important role in enabling his daily life and providing him with the same opportunities as other children. You will be his support and ensure that he can participate in the activities he enjoys while also ensuring his safety and well-being.

We Are Looking for Someone Who:

• Is calm, responsible, and able to act quickly when needed.
• Enjoys working independently but also closely with the boy's family.
• Has good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form.
• Is smoke-free, as this is a requirement.
• Has a good ability to adapt to the boy's needs and the family's wishes.

About the Workplace:

The workplace is located in Hjärup, and it is easy to get there by public transport, but we prefer that you have a driver's license and access to a car. The position mainly involves working in the afternoons and evenings, and includes weekend work.

The parents are present for support and guidance, and you will receive thorough training. Please note that the family has a dog in the home.
