Kooperativet Hand i Hand is a member-driven organization established in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with the Social Insurance Agency/municipality to personnel issues concerning personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

We are looking for personal assistants for a 14-year-old boy with autism, ADHD, and an intellectual disability. He lives in Tyringe with his family and needs supervision at all waking hours as well as support in daily activities to ensure things are done well.

His hobbies often change. One week he may enjoy playing with his cars, while the next week he may want to play with his collection of cleaning supplies. He needs to have some privacy but under supervision. He is very creative and has a strong interest in creating things such as drawing, baking, playing with clay, and building things with paper or wood. He also enjoys stories and watching movies. To succeed in working with this member, it is important that you, as an applicant, want to and try to engage with the member's interests.

The member has personal assistance to manage his daily life, which, in addition to his interests and schooling, also involves challenging behaviors. He needs your help to guide and support him through everyday situations that are difficult for him to understand.

We are looking for someone who is positive, creative, and clever. Your tasks will mostly involve staying one step ahead of the member. This can include everything from preventing his challenging behaviors to keeping him active.

The position is approximately 30%. We are looking for someone interested in working evenings + nights with waiting time between 10 PM - 7 AM. You will work 5 shifts between 5 PM - 7:45 AM with waiting time between 10 PM - 7 AM on your 4-week schedule. Additionally, we would like you to work one evening a week between 5 PM - 8 PM to reach approximately 30%. We offer you the opportunity to choose which evening + night suits you.

We are also looking for someone who can consider stepping in as a substitute when our regular staff is sick or needs time off.

If you have previous experience with low-arousal approaches, it is an advantage.
