A job close to life and death

As a customer advisor, you build trust and confidence with our customers and are the guide in a time that for many is filled with grief and uncertainty. Working with funerals is varied, eventful, and requires a good understanding of people's different needs. You take overall responsibility for planning and adapting the ceremony according to the customer's needs and wishes while always having the support of colleagues who are close at hand. Some of the tasks include:

• Meeting relatives and providing advice on planning and conducting the funeral ceremony, including choosing the type of ceremony, coffins, urns, and other details
• Preparing cost estimates, handling invoicing and payments
• Coordinating and communicating with external suppliers such as florists, parishes, faith communities, and authorities
• Acting as a representative in churches, chapels, and other gathering places in connection with ceremonies
• Providing support and practical guidance to relatives throughout the funeral process, from the first meeting to subsequent follow-up.

For our customer area Malmö 1015 with offices in several locations in Malmö as well as in Vellinge and Trelleborg, we are looking for a colleague who will be based at one of our offices in Malmö. Within the customer area, we work as a team and help each other, which means you will have the opportunity to work throughout the customer area.

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting by agreement. Fonus applies a 6-month probationary period.

What you bring with you

• Experience in service and/or sales
• Experience working with a customer focus
• Good administrative skills and familiarity with various business systems as well as the Office package
• Have a B driver's license, access to a personal car, and be comfortable driving larger vehicles

We consider it an advantage if you also:

• Speak multiple languages
• Have experience in our or related fields
• Have experience working with different cultures
