Take the opportunity to try an interesting summer temporary position as a treatment assistant at SiS. The job as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. You work in a team together with trained treatment pedagogues and an operational leader, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people living with us receive the security, care, and treatment they need. Documentation is an important part of your work, contributing to legal certainty, planning, and follow-up of our operations. You contribute to maintaining safety according to our routines and participate in working towards a constantly better SiS.

We are now looking for summer temp workers for the night shift at SiS Hässleholm.

Our operations run 24/7, and you who work at night are responsible for the well-being and safety of the young people, with a main focus on promoting their sleep routines and being there for them when needed. Nighttime is for many the most challenging time of the day, and sleep problems are very common among our youth, making a secure adult who can offer support in the form of conversation or other means a very important piece of the puzzle. The work can vary greatly in intensity from very calm nights to nights that require a lot from you as a treatment assistant.

You will always work awake nights with us on shifts scheduled between 21:00-08:00 on weekdays and 20:45-08:15 on weekends. You will work according to a rolling schedule in a team with several other treatment assistants and educators. The current schedule is under revision, and there may therefore be some changes in the times in the future.

In this recruitment, we will also recruit for a role that will have increased responsibility for the visits and activities held at the institution. The responsibility will include coordinating bookings and ensuring they consider safety aspects. With the increased responsibility, it is required that you have the ability to see a holistic perspective in how the planning of activities, bookings, and legal processes are carried out. The working hours for this role will be scheduled from the afternoon when you will handle bookings for visits and activities, to join the night organization in the evening until the shift ends in the early morning.

As a summer temp at SiS, you will undergo a tailored introductory training to prepare you for your assignment.

Qualifications

To succeed in your work, you have a solid positive view of people. You are motivated to help people in a vulnerable life situation and share SiS's values, being a place for change. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our youth. As a person, you are secure in yourself and have an easy time building relationships with both young people and other staff members. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You find it easy to collaborate with others and can handle conflicts constructively.

You should also have:

• A minimum grade of E in at least 2250 points from a program that is 2500 points
• A minimum grade of E in the course Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1
• A minimum grade of E in English 5
• A minimum grade of E in Mathematics 1
• A grade of E in the gymnasial project work
• B driver's license
• Good Swedish in speech and writing

In this position, we require that you have previous experience of awake night work in a similar field.

Employment:

The position is a temporary position and can last from 4 weeks to 3 months depending on our needs.

There is a great chance to continue as a part-time employee after the summer if interested.
