JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for substitutes who want to work in our area of Support for People with Disabilities.

We are seeking staff for our residential facilities with special services, short-term supervision/stays, and housing support. We would like you to be able to start working hours as soon as possible to become a familiar face to our users before the summer.

In our residential facilities with special services according to LSS, you will support and assist users with various disabilities in their daily care. In Klippan, we operate 7 different residences where the target groups vary, and you provide support and assistance based on the individual needs of the users. You will assist with communication, personal care, help with daily routines, administering medications, as well as cleaning and laundry. We offer you a varied and stimulating job where your contribution is of great importance and makes a difference every day.

In our short-term stay/supervision, you will work with children and young people aged 7-21 years. You will contribute to a safe and homely environment and provide individual support and assistance to young people with various disabilities.

In our housing support, you will work in the users' own homes. You provide support based on the user's individual needs and difficulties to motivate and encourage the individual to perform activities in daily life independently. Individuals who receive support from housing supporters often have complex disabilities, and you need to be comfortable working alone and meeting users with disabilities, mental health issues, and/or substance abuse. To work in housing support, you must also have a driver's license.

In all our services, you will meet users with different needs for help and support. This may challenge you but above all develop you, and you need to be prepared for the fact that one day is not like the other.

Your working hours will vary over days and evenings, both weekdays and weekends. Working every other weekend is the norm in the municipality. Awake night shifts and journal nights occur in some positions.

Interviews and notifications for summer temporary positions will be ongoing, and we would like you to start working hours already now to continue with longer summer positions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• It is an advantage if you have relevant education such as; health and care program, child and leisure or other pedagogical education.
• It is an advantage if you have experience working with individuals with different disabilities or other work in health and care.
• You have good language skills in Swedish, with the ability to understand, speak, read, and write the Swedish used in health and care.
• You have the ability to meet and converse in a pedagogical manner.
• You are comfortable using digital tools and equipment.
• You must be at least 18 years old; for certain positions, a driver's license (B) is required.
