JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work with investigations related to internet-related sexual offenses against children.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Systematically and methodically working to increase the number of identified vulnerable children and perpetrators
  • Handling cases, which involves conducting interviews, analyzing, evaluating evidence, and presenting material in court.
  • Operational work by conducting raids with various areas of responsibility
  • Supporting other investigation groups within the police regarding evidence collection in IT environments

The section is technology-, education-, and development-intensive, which requires an ability and willingness to participate in a developing environment. Therefore, you should be interested in method development to find effective forms in the cases we investigate. The work involves analyzing sensitive image and film material, and you will therefore receive continuous guidance. Of course, you will receive relevant training and support from us.

QUALIFICATIONS

This is an opportunity for you who have:

  • Police degree, academic degree, or other post-secondary education that the employer deems appropriate, or work experience that the employer considers equivalent.
  • Driver's license B.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you also have:

  • Experience with child cases, grooming offenses, or similar.
  • Experience with investigations involving many seizures.
  • Relevant experience in gathering, analyzing, and compiling large amounts of information.
  • Investigation experience, good knowledge of UFED, Griffey, and preferably additional analysis tools.
  • Experience in conducting interviews/conversations and documenting them.
