As a Cybersecurity Specialist at Exeger, you will be an important part of their team, ensuring that our digital systems and data are protected. You will proactively work to identify and prevent security threats, manage incidents, and develop strategies to strengthen our cybersecurity. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting Exeger’s sensitive information and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of their systems and data. You will play a crucial role in protecting the organization against cyber threats and attacks. You will report directly to the Chief Security Officer (CSO).

• Implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the systems.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and respond quickly to security incidents.
• Install, configure, and maintain security tools and software, such as firewalls, antivirus programs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that security measures are integrated into all parts of our technical infrastructure.
• Stay updated on the latest threats, trends, and technologies in cybersecurity and recommend improvements to strengthen their security.
• Manage and work closely with their MDR solutions.

We believe you are an analytical problem solver with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions. You have strong communication skills as you will interact with both internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

• At least 3 years of experience working in cybersecurity with a strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.
• Practical experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, antivirus programs, and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Desirable: Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001 is a plus.
