As a parking attendant, you contribute to creating a safe traffic situation for everyone on the road. Your job includes checking and reporting incorrectly parked vehicles, as well as informing about upcoming changes in traffic. It is a dynamic outdoor job performed year-round, and to thrive as a parking attendant, you should be socially competent, calm, and informative.

Avarn's parking department is expanding and is now looking to recruit more employees for the Stockholm region. We are looking for someone who is currently working or has worked as a parking attendant on municipal land with a focus on traffic safety and service.

About the position

Your team will work together with the municipality to ensure that parking regulations are followed and help residents park correctly. Avarn is a knowledge leader in parking, and we will provide you with opportunities to develop your skills and grow in your profession.

We have vacancies in Stadshagen or Akalla. The positions are permanent employment (we apply a 6-month probationary period) based on need or full-time with the workplace in Stockholm.

Working hours are available both day and night. Start date according to agreement.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has an approved parking attendant training for street parking (Valid training certificates are required to proceed in the process), good Swedish in speech and writing, and who holds a B driver's license.

In addition, you need to be without a criminal record*, drug-free, have a stable economy, good health and physique, as well as high school competence or equivalent education to be employed at Avarn Security.

It is an advantage if you have previously worked with similar tasks. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability.

* All personnel at an authorized security company must be approved based on compliance with the law, civic reliability, and suitability in other respects. For the approval authority's assessment of a person's compliance with the law and civic reliability, information from the criminal record or suspicion register or information processed by the Security Police under the law on the police's processing of personal data within the crime data law area will be obtained.
