In this role, you will be part of a security guard patrol serving within the state’s maritime museums. You will work at the Royal Djurgården adjacent to parks and museums. As a security guard in this position, you are responsible for ensuring that visitors, both national and international tourists, receive a premium service experience. The job mainly involves patrolling and collaborating with various stakeholders such as staff, businesses, and tourists. You play a vital role in the client’s operations and are expected to deliver service and support based on the established service concept for your area of responsibility.

Some examples of your service areas will include: Galärparken, Vasamuseet, and SS Sankt Erik. Work will take place both indoors and outdoors.

This is a full-time position during the day, with working hours from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, during the period of June, July, and August 2025, with the possibility of extension. You will work in a pleasant and historic environment in Stockholm.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a valid security guard license or who has a scheduled security guard training in the spring of 2025 and who has good Swedish and English skills in both spoken and written form.

We seek individuals who want to work in a safety-creating role and have a natural ability to combine service with a pronounced security mindset. You are meticulous and patient in your work approach as there will be a lot of interaction with people in this role. Furthermore, you are communicative, empathetic, clear, and have the ability to be flexible and adapt your way of resolving situations effectively. We are looking for individuals with inner confidence and a natural drive to help provide first-class service. You are proactive with good body language and understand the importance of meeting customers professionally, with eye contact and a smile.

We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with people and have a natural drive to assist. Additionally, you should be security-conscious, service-oriented, and empathetic. You should be able to combine good service with a pronounced security mindset and possess communication and collaboration skills. The job requires you to be flexible and adaptable.

In addition, you need to be without a criminal record*, drug-free, have organized finances, good health and physical condition, and have a high school diploma or equivalent education to be employed by Avarn Security.

It is an advantage if you have a background in security training and/or other qualifications that may be relevant to the position.

* All personnel at an authorized security company must be approved based on legal compliance, civic reliability, and suitability. For the approval authority's assessment of a person's legal compliance and civic reliability, information from the criminal record or suspicion register or that processed by the Security Police under the law on police processing of personal data within the crime data law area will be obtained.
