We who are looking for a colleague are a cheerful, engaged, and competent team at Falck's unit in central Stockholm. You will work closely with experienced and helpful company nurses, company doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, etc., who collaborate with our clients and their employees with good results. Together with other competencies at Falck, you will have a consultative and proactive dialogue with clients where you suggest both your own and other professionals' interventions, guide the client on what should be done, and propose how it should be implemented to achieve the best effect for the client. Our clients are from a variety of sectors; private and public, large and small businesses, which provides exciting variation in your job.

As an Occupational Health Engineer at Falck health and occupational life, you will use your specialist knowledge to provide a holistic perspective on the occupational health area, with an emphasis on the physical work environment, and thus play an important role in creating value and results for our clients. You will actively support our client companies in developing their operations regarding occupational health issues and make systematic occupational health work visible as an effective tool for management. You will be part of a National network of Occupational Health Engineers within Falck.

You will work with:

  • Client contacts, training, and advisory services
  • Support to client companies regarding compliance with regulatory requirements, laws, and regulations
  • Occupational hygiene investigations/measures, mapping, and risk assessment in areas such as noise, lighting, indoor climate, vibrations, chemicals, and electromagnetic fields.
  • Evaluate results, write reports, and develop action proposals together with the client

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Occupational health engineer education, university education with a focus on occupational health or equivalent relevant education.
  • Technical competence to investigate and analyze the physical work environment through, for example, occupational hygiene measurements, evaluate proposed solutions, or assist with suggestions for measures.
  • Good IT skills and experience and interest in delivering in digital tools such as Teams
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Experience in microscopy (meritorious)
  • Experience in conducting training in the occupational health field for larger groups in both Swedish and English (meritorious)

Other:

Permanent employment starting with a 6-month probation period. Start date by agreement. Working hours on weekdays 8-17.

The role covers a larger geographical area primarily within Stockholm but also Mälardalen and Sörmland, which means travel as needed between Falck's units and to our clients, so you need to have a driver's license and preferably access to your own car for work.
