Security Officer at Karlskrona Municipality

As a security officer, you will be employed in our staff department at the municipal management administration. Here, communicators, lawyers, registrars, strategists, and business developers work with coordination, governance, and support for the entire municipality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We at Karlskrona Municipality are continuing our efforts to strengthen our ability to be prepared in the event of a crisis or war. We do this by, for example, developing our work with risk and vulnerability analyses. The work takes place in a project that will last for two years and means that you as a security officer will work with:

• the risk and vulnerability analysis for Karlskrona Municipality.
• continuity planning to ensure essential societal functions.
• planning and coordination of large-scale evacuations from Karlskrona Municipality's perspective.
• development of training initiatives related to the municipality's civil preparedness policy.
• updating policies/guidelines related to the preparedness area.

The work is project-based and involves close collaboration with the municipality's administrations and external actors. Your work will be led by the security manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required for the position:

• Relevant higher education, for example in political science, security, or preparedness.
• Project management training and/or experience in leading projects.
• Knowledge of municipal organization.
• Good ability to use the Swedish language in speech and writing.
• Driver's license for a car.

It is an advantage if you have experience in risk and vulnerability analysis work.
