JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who is driven to work in customer service in a professional role. Our mission is to maintain high availability for customers, a high level of service, and to effectively resolve customer inquiries. Together, we work to provide fast, reliable, and excellent service.

As a community guide in Skurup Municipality, you will answer questions and guide citizens and customers across all municipal areas via phone, email, social media, and in-person visits. You and your colleagues provide information, receive reports of issues, and handle administrative matters.

The phone is the most common contact method, but you will also meet and assist visitors at the municipal office's reception. To find information about the municipality's activities and to connect calls, you will use many different systems, often simultaneously. We are looking for someone who can help us staff the switchboard and information desk with short notice during absences and illnesses.

QUALIFICATIONS

We want you to have good conversation and telephone skills, a strong ability to handle various IT-based information and operational systems, and an ability to see the big picture.

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education and several years of experience in customer-oriented service work from a switchboard and customer service or citizen office in municipal or other public operations. You can express yourself easily in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. If you speak additional languages, that is highly welcomed. As a person, you are engaged, enjoy meeting and helping others, while also being meticulous and following routines. You have a strong sense of service and believe it is important to always provide excellent service.

You have a positive attitude, focus on solving problems, and can remain calm even in stressful situations. We see good teamwork skills and the ability to build good relationships as essential. You are well aware of how you communicate with others and adapt to the situation.
